My name is Will Horan, founder and president of HandPunch Guys LLC. With close to a decade of experience in the time & attendance industry, I have designed and implemented HandPunch systems for companies all across the country. The Handpunch works by verifying a person's hand geometry. This is simply the size and shape of the hand. There are no privacy issues, as the device does not take fingerprints or palm prints. It takes a "picture" of the hand which is stored as a 9-byte mathematical representation which has never been reverse engineered to identify people.
